Hi there, I am so glad you are here, welcome! 

I adore books and stories, and going on cozy adventures right from the comfort of my home. For me, reading a lovely book while enjoying a beautiful botanical-filled bath is one of life’s simple and profound pleasures. I want to share this with you! 

I found my way to herbalism as a teenager looking for empowering ways to care for myself. This soon turned into full-blown spa days replete with handcrafted baths, multistep facials, botanical filled vinegar hair rinses, and even the occasional ingredient-infused henna pack for my hair. In college, I was lucky to move on to study biology (with an emphasis on plants of course!) and then earn certificates from a lovely herb school in Boulder, Colorado. My blessings continued as I became a preschool teacher. There, I was able to share herbalism with the smallest of humans while my own children grew. The Herbal Academy then welcomed me as part of their team where I spent time writing, supporting students, and learning as much as I could everyday.

Now, I'm inspired to create lovely things for Nerdy Fairy to share with others. And while sometimes things might get a bit spicy, the focus here is cozy fiction and botanicals. This sweet yet deep genre has grabbed my heart. I want to read and feel good when I am done reading. I am delighted to get creative with these beautiful stories to make luscious botanical products that support the characters, places, and adventures found within each cozy page.
